Pricing & Estimates
Honest Work. Clear Costs. No Gimmicks.
We know what it’s like to want solid answers before you hire someone. You don’t want surprises on your invoice—or a flashy price that only shows up after someone’s already at your door. That’s why our pricing is upfront, transparent, and built to match the real work being done.

At Loch Monster Electric, we don’t use flat-rate pricing. You won’t find “specials” with fine print, or numbers that only apply to jobs no one actually needs. We work on a time and materials model, with two other flexible options depending on the size of your project and how formal your quote needs to be.

Here’s how it works.
How We Price Jobs

Time & Materials – For Most Jobs
This is how we price the majority of our work—repairs, small installs, troubleshooting, and general service calls.

You pay for:

-
The actual time our licensed electrician spends on-site
-
The real cost of materials used to complete your job
-
A flat service charge (charged once per invoice—whether we fix one thing or five)

We’re happy to give good faith estimates over the phone based on what you describe. We’ll walk you through what to expect in labor time, ballpark material costs, and the service charge.

There’s no “we’ll see when we get there” approach. If we can give you a reasonable range, we will—and if something changes mid-job, we’ll update you before we move forward.
Upfront Communication, Every Time
When you call us, you’ll speak with a real Loch Monster team member—not a call center.

We’ll walk you through:

-
Our hourly labor rate
-
The one-time service charge per invoice
-
Estimated material costs (when applicable)
-
Whether your job is better suited for a phone estimate or an in-person inspection

We do everything we can to keep you informed before, during, and after the work. That includes telling you right away if something changes once we’re on-site.

No Discounts, Coupons, or Fake Sales
We’re a licensed trade in Minnesota, and your electrical work is handled by a skilled professional—not a sales team. That means no gimmicks, no inflated “retail” pricing, and no fake markdowns.

You won’t find seasonal sales or promo codes here—just fair, honest pricing based on the actual work your project requires. Every job is done safely, correctly, and without shortcuts. Because when you’re hiring a professional, you should get the real thing—without the runaround.
