CEILING FANINSTALLATION

Properly Hung, Securely Wired, and Guaranteed Wobble-Free.

A ceiling fan that continuously wobbles, hums on lower speeds, or fails to respond to integrated remote controls is typically suffering from a flawed installation rather than a hardware defect. We ensure structural stability by installing heavy-duty, UL-listed fan-rated support boxes, bracing mechanical components against joists, and executing dedicated branch circuit wiring wherever needed.

Our licensed Minnesota electricians pull all necessary municipal permits and complete structural balance adjustments so your new fixture circulates air safely, quietly, and efficiently for years to come.

When Do You Need

A CEILING FAN INSTALLATION?

YOU WANT TO REPLACE A STANDARD LIGHT FIXTURE WITH A FAN

Standard ceiling electrical junction boxes are structurally engineered solely for static, lightweight lighting hardware and are completely incapable of supporting the continuous dynamic weight of a spinning motor. Mounting a multi-blade fixture directly onto a standard plastic or lightweight metal box can cause the entire unit to tear free from the ceiling joists over time.

YOUR EXISTING FIXTURE WOBBLES, SHAKES, OR MAKES A HUMMING NOISE

An overhead cooling fixture that violently sways, vibrates, or emits a distinct mechanical humming or rhythmic clicking noise is an operational hazard that requires structural remediation. These disruptive performance errors are rarely caused by defective motors; instead, they stem from unanchored outlet boxes, loose blade brackets, warped mounting hardware, or incorrect wire termination inside the canopy cover.

YOU'RE ADDING A NEW FAN IN A ROOM WITH NO OVERHEAD WIRING

Introducing a modern cooling fixture into a living room, bedroom, or sunroom that completely lacks pre-existing overhead junction boxes requires running new electrical circuits through your framing walls. Attempting to bypass this permanent infrastructure step by draping hazardous extension cords across your drywall creates a messy aesthetic and an active shock risk.

WIRING INTELLIGENT SMART SMART FANS AND MULTI-WALL SWITCH CONTROLS

High-efficiency contemporary smart fans, multi-speed DC motor setups, and integrated LED fixtures require exact electrical inputs and specialized digital control pairings to operate without burning out sensitive internal chipsets. Standard older rheostat wall dimmers will rapidly starve a modern fan motor of correct voltage, leading to excessive internal heat buildup, loud electronic buzzing sounds, and permanent component failure.

EV charger installs are the fastest-growing request we get. Ceiling fans are a close second, mostly because homeowners replace old ones and realize the wiring is not set up for a fan with a separate light kit. Smart home device wiring is also picking up as more people want their switches and thermostats to work correctly rather than just be taped to a Bluetooth hub.

Sometimes. It depends on how much capacity your current panel has. We check your panel load before recommending anything. If there is room for a 50-amp circuit, you can add a Level 2 charger without touching the panel. If not, we will tell you upfront rather than sending you a surprise invoice mid-job.

For a straight swap of an existing fixture, typically no permit is required in Minnesota. If you are adding a new circuit, changing a box, or doing anything beyond swapping what was already there, a permit may apply. We handle permit questions honestly and will tell you what is required for your specific job.

Most smart switches require a neutral wire that older wiring does not have. Smart thermostats sometimes need a C-wire added. Doorbells need low-voltage wiring run correctly. It is not complicated, but doing it wrong means your devices do not work reliably. We wire it correctly the first time so you are not troubleshooting it every week.

Most Level 2 charger installs are done in a day. We run a dedicated 240V circuit from your panel to the garage, mount the charger, and handle the permit and inspection. If your panel needs work first, that may add time. We schedule everything in sequence so you are not waiting weeks between steps.
